Handicrafts & Carpet Sector
The HCSSC mission involves the overall development of skills related to the handicrafts and carpet sector. Ten years from its inception, HCSSC aims at developing NOSs for over 125 job roles, certifying up to 2 million candidates, training as much as 5 thousand trainers and affiliating about 140 training institutes.
The Healthcare Sector Skill Council (HSSC) is a Not-for-Profit, Non- Statutory Certifying Organization, under the ambit of Ministry of Skill Development and Entrepreneurship (MSDE) and registered under the Societies Registration Act, 1860. The Council has been promoted by the Confederation of Indian Industry (CII), National Skills Development Corporation (NSDC) and Healthcare Industry Leaders representing both public and private sector.
Iron & Stell Sector
Research and aggregate skill requirements of the Industry including sub-sector requirements, regional requirements and international trends and best practices that can be introduced in the domestic skill development space.Build Capacity for training delivery and regulate the skill development activities in the Industry sectors including development of the National Occupational Standards, qualifications, training curriculum and assessment criteria.
Paint & Coatings Sector
The paint industry in India has come a long way from its first factory, set up in Kolkata in 1902. Consistently growing at a swift pace year after year, it has managed to make its unique space in the country’s industrial landscape, supporting rapid growth and advancement of various user industries such as infrastructure, automobiles, public transportation, agricultural equipment, consumer durables, chemicals and oil & gas.
The Need For Plumbing Services Arises For Maintenance Of Public Health And Environmental Requirements Emanating From The Water Industry And The Need For Proper Sanitation. Of The Many Key Activities Carried Out In The Construction Sector, Plumbing Is One Of The Main Constituents Which Also Has A Direct Linkage With Other Ancillary Industries Manufacturing Plumbing Related Products Viz. Water Treatment, Sewage And Drainage, Fire Safety, Supply Of Gas, Heating And Cooling Systems, Industrial Waste Management, And Air-Conditioning Etc.
Infrastructure Equipment Sector
The Infrastructure Equipment Skill Council ( IESC ) is a ‘Not for Profit’ sustainable organisation promoted by the Indian Construction Equipment Manufacturers Association ( ICEMA ) and supported by the Confederation of Indian Industry ( CII ) and funded by the National Skill Development Corporation ( NSDC ) to spearhead the skilling of workforce in the Infrastructure Equipment Sector with primary focus on training and certification of operators and mechanics.
